The FGSC does not have the resources to sequence each plasmid in the collection. If you do sequence a plasmid from the FGSC collection, please post the sequence in genbank.

In most cases, the E. coli strain is DH5-alpha or XLI-Blue.  In some cases, we do not know in what strain the clone was deposited.
