When macroconidia from agar-grown mycelial cultures are germinated in liquid shake culture at 22°C, the germlings produce uninucleate microconidia within 24 hr, reaching concentrations of 10^7/ml at 72 hr. At 30°C, multinucleate arthroconidia and few or no micrconidia are produced. The morphology of surface-grown cultures is normal wild type.IILB
