Genes

Locus Cultural Requirements Link Group Type
spco-4VIIL. Linked to do (<1%) and nic-3 (1%, probably to the left) (816). Fine hyphae (382). Initially aconidial. Capable of conidiating on the surface of complete medium (D.D. Perkins, unpublished data). Hyphae extend faster within agar medium than on the surface, resulting in a dense hemispherical colony, most of which is embedded (1085).VIILB
col-15IIIR. Putative vel allele (0/26) (PB). Linked to tyr-1 (5%) and col-13(0/181) (382). Resembles col-13 and vel. Occasionally forms puffs of aerial conidia at tops of slants; these are not due to reversion (PB). Reported to complement col-13in heterokaryons (382), but this may have been due to misinterpretation of erratic conidiation.IIIRB
