Stock No. from Other Collection: OG67
Depositor of Strain: OG
Markers
Lesion: col-16 colonial-16
Lesion Information for Marker:
      Linkage Group of col-16: IIIR
      Markers Left of col-16: Linked to leu-1 (1%) and pro-1 (10%)
Marker description or requirements:
IIIR. Linked to leu-1 (1%) and pro-1 (10%) (382; PB).Colonial morphology (382). Forms balls of powdery conidia at top of slants of glycerol complete medium. A good marker, preferable to com; strains carrying the latter grow more slowly and do not conidiate (PB). Complements mo-4 and spco-15 (382).

Lesion: spco-7 spreading colonial-7
Lesion Information for Marker:
      Linkage Group of spco-7: VI
      Markers Left of spco-7: ylo-1 (4%)
      Markers Right ofspco-7: T(AR209)and trp-2(16-21%);Near ad-1 (0/65)
Marker description or requirements:
Near ad-1 (0/65). Right of ylo-1 (4%); left of T(AR209)and trp-2(16-21%) (PB). (382) Complements moe-2. Allele R2365 preferred, for excellent growth, conidiation, and fertility (PB). Allele R2365, called spco-3, was incorrectly assigned to V (42% recombination with inl (382). R2365 x spco-7 (R2457) crosses result in small perithecia devoid of ascospores (PB).
